Dankzij de steun van HELP Malawi-Nederland en haar Nederlandse sponsoren konden 150 kinderen in twee kinderdagverblijven extra maaltijden ontvangen, wat hun gezondheid en schoolprestaties verbeterde. Ook verzorgers en vrijwillige koks kregen hulp in de vorm van ma\u00efsvoorraden. Nu de oogsttijd nadert, krijgen gezinnen weer meer voedsel, al blijft de opbrengst onzeker door slechte weersomstandigheden en plagen.
