Zowel de kinderen van groep 8 van het basisonderwijs als de studenten die in het tweede jaar zitten hebben eind juni, begin juli examen gedaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Dit schrijft Lemani over de examens in groep 8:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Students in Standard 8, the final class in primary school, sat for their national examinations last week. We had more than 40 students at both Dzoole and Nanthomba Primary Schools who sat for the exam. Results are expected to be out by the end of August so that they can join their friends in secondary school as the new academic year starts in September. Together with the school authorities and Parents\/Teachers committee, Future4All will assess who will need support of school fees. We encourage parents and guardians of the children to contribute towards the fees of their children whenever they can<\/em>“.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aan het einde van het tweede jaar in secondaryschool moeten alle studenten\u00a0een nationaal examen doen. Hiervoor moeten ze slagen om over te gaan naar klas 3.\u00a0De examenresultaten worden eind augustus verwacht. Lemani\u00a0weet eigenlijk wel zeker dat alle studenten die wij sponsoren zullen slagen omdat ze het\u00a0de eerste 2 jaar heel goed hebben gedaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondaryschool begint weer in de eerste week van september.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De vierde jaars studenten hebben de afgelopen week hun examens afgerond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hun examenresultaten komen, als het goed is, in september.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hebben ze hele hoge scores dan kunnen ze worden ingeloot voor een universiteit. Ze krijgen dan een studiebeurs. Het probleem voor onze studenten is dan dat ze naar een stad moeten verhuizen waar ze iets moeten huren en voor hun eigen eten moeten zorgen. Hier hebben ze geen geld voor. Soms worden ze geholpen door een sponsor of kunnen voor weinig geld bij familie wonen. Wij als stichting willen wel bemiddelen maar betalen geen onkosten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studenten die wel slagen maar lager scoren kunnen eventueel naar een soort M.B.O.\u00a0Ook dat kost geld.\u00a0Als ze echt gemotiveerd zijn\u00a0gaan ze eerst een paar jaar werken, sparen,\u00a0omdan alsnog\u00a0de opleiding\u00a0te doen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De meeste studenten gaan aan het werk. Zij hebben een goede basisopleiding en vinden vaak wel een baan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
