{"id":403,"date":"2016-02-28T08:20:47","date_gmt":"2016-02-28T08:20:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/helpmalawi-nederland.nl\/?p=403"},"modified":"2019-09-13T08:21:27","modified_gmt":"2019-09-13T08:21:27","slug":"update-mais-actie-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpmalawi-nederland.nl\/index.php\/2016\/02\/28\/update-mais-actie-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Update: Mais actie"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Er is nu 5700 euro binnen.\u00a0Nog 2300 euro te gaan. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vandaag, 24 februari hebben we onderstaande mail en bijlage met tekst en foto\u2019s ontvangen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geweldig.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hadden aan het begin van onze actie, nu 12 dagen geleden, &nbsp;al 4000 euro gestuurd en daar kon nu de eerste ma\u00efs van worden gekocht.&nbsp;Tot nu toe hebben we dankzij 72 particuliere donoren 4400 euro binnen gekregen.&nbsp;Hiervoor natuurlijk onze hartelijke dank.&nbsp;Het zou geweldig zijn dat we nog 3500 euro binnen krijgen want dan kunnen we eind maart de meest noodlijdende families nog een zak ma\u00efs geven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zoals U op de foto\u2019s kunt zien is het al groen en groeit de ma\u00efs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als het zoals nu af en toe regent, kunnen de families ongeveer half mei hun eerste oogst binnen halen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De mail van Lemani:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hi Louise and Team,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Very excited I write to tell you that the maize was distributed yesterday. Full of joy 290 families went home with 25kg each.&nbsp; Some maize was also reserved to feed the day care centre,&nbsp; \u201cIt was unbelievable that people from overseas (Holland) of which some of them have been here only once but the majority have never been to this village took part in contributing to save us from starvation. What a great Love this people have.\u201d Leaders of the village explained to the audience while everyone was ululating. THE VILLAGE SAYS THANK YOU VERY MUCH! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
